The Saskatoon Crisis Intervention Service is a professional community-based organization that provides 24-hour crisis services for individuals and families in distress.

We are currently recruiting for Intensive CommunitySupport (ICS) Worker.

The Intensive Community Support Worker provides case management, services coordination, long-term, individualized support to individuals who are complex to service and challenging to engage and have severe and persistent disabling conditions such as mental illness, substance use disorder, acquired brain injury, and legal issues.

The work is both challenging and rewarding. Excellent benefits package after 300 hours.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a 4-year Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work University Degree from an accredited Faculty of Social Work.
  • 3-4 years of experience in case management, housing support or community mental health work. Experience in a crisis intervention role.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license (Driver’s Abstract required) and computer skills.
  • Must agree to a Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check.

Terms of Employment:

  • Full Time Term approx. April 1 - September 30, 2026
  • Typically, regular business hours, flexibility is required to accommodate client needs.
  • Regular travel within Saskatoon and navigating various housing environments.
