Accounting Clerk

The Saskatoon Crisis Intervention Service is a professional community-based organization that provides 24-hour crisis services for individuals and families in distress.

We are currently recruiting for Accounting Clerk.

The Accounting Clerk reports to the Accounting Manager andprovides day-to-day financial transaction processing and support. This includes handling vendor payments,receivables, and reconciliations, as well as assisting with payroll-relatedentries, while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of accounting records.

The work is both challenging and rewarding. Excellent benefits package after 300 hours.

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum 2-year diploma in Accounting, BusinessAdministration, Finance or related field from a recognized post-secondaryinstitution.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accountspayable/receivable.
Proficient with SAGE 50 and Microsoft Office 365.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Must have a valid driver’s license (Driver’s Abstract required) and computer skills.
Must agree to a Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check.

Terms of Employment:

Part Time (30hrs/week) Term until March 31, 2027
Office based
Daytime hours Monday - Friday
